Ok I am working on getting an enclosure ready for a chameleon and I am getting ready to repot a small ficus tree.
I was hoping to get some advise on what type of soil/sand mixture to use, I have access to some good organic soil, but do I need to mix it with sand for proper drainage, if so what type of sand and what ratio.
Somewhat related question, is it ok to plant moss on top of the soil for the tree or is it better to just leave it bare, or put river rocks over the top?
