Ficus Question!

They Are very sensative to varied temperatures, movement, to much sun, not enough sun etc. Just put it in reasonable sunlight (window) Keep the soil wet all the times, and just dont move it much. Either way if in a good set, the leaves will fall off for some time till it settles in. Then with plenty of water it will replace all lost leaves and grow in full. a good setup will actually require trimming to keep tree in shape or thin enough within, for Chameleons to wander along its branches.

Hope this helps.

I am no green thumb.. But I am learning. I do know that they drop leafs when the light they receive has changed. The leafs fall off and grow back with different leafs that can absorb the current light conditions better. So if it came from a high light condition to a low light condition it will drop the leafs and grow leafs that are better for absorbing the lower light levels.

You dont necessarily need to have it in sun light, my ficus is in my back corner without anysunlight but it has my heat lamp and UVB light, the cages temp is aroung 70-80 and the ficus is bursting with vines and leaves, i actually need to trim it because it is so full of leaves and massive.
