Fenix and the hibiscus.

Awww! How sweet Max!
He's getting to be such a big boy! I can't believe it. His colors are amazing.
I wonder if he'll go through that "weird color phase" that some crosses experience at puberty. I doubt it, considering he's so colorful already. I've seen some threads with crosses that look a little drab.. and then BAM! They explode!
I see so many crosses that I love, but you know you can never get that exact Cham. It's awesome, but disappointing at the same time. Crosses are so unique and surprising. I think it brings a whole new element to the hobby.
By the way.. is that what a Hibiscus is supposed to look like? I think you need to adopt mine. Lol. I gave up on it. Once I get it back to good health, Kentucky's weather kills it again.

Awww, you're too sweet! The hibiscus is actually a little wilted. This San Antone heat is doing a number on it! I haven't seen it bloom flowers since I brought it home from the store...
But, it's still alive!!! I'm curious to see how lil Fenix shapes out. His dad was half/half blue green bar. Fenix looks like he might get some red bars on his tail, but he's not even 4 months old, so I'm sure it'll change...We'll see!!

Well it looks much better than mine! It's grown and lost all of it's leaves like 3 times now. It blew over from the wind last week, and I just said screw it. It's been laying like that ever since. Lol.
Do you have any pics of Fenix's daddy you can PM to me or post? I'd love to see what he looks like! I love the red he has near his eyes. I'm surprised by how much green he has. I thought he'd be like 65% blue!

Ha ha!!!!!!!!!!! Jk,,,, he looks great!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's such a wonderful feeling when they climb out onto you!!!!! It makes your day, you know your doing something right!!!!!!!!!
I was shocked and incredibly excited when he actually walked onto my hand! I opened his cage and he ever so delicately walked out onto his door (with my hand just below in case he fell) and then I raised up my hand and he casually looked at it and climbed aboard! Victory!

Thanks! It was definitely exciting! The iPhone 4S is kinda 50/50 on grabbing good shots. The stupid auto-focus has a mind of its own. I think I had better luck with my old iPhone 3g...
