Female veiled question

Hi!
I have a female veiled who is around 6-7 months old (the old owner was not completely sure). I put a laying bin in there yesterday and today I came home and found her digging so I went to cover the the cage but she went back to her basking spot. I left and hours later I peeped in and she is basking. I am very worried she could become egg bound. Was it possible she was just looking in there but not ready to lay eggs yet?

I really appreciate it. She has been moving around a lot, I am just nervous I disrupted her earlier.

Just cover her cage and give her plenty of privacy and hopefully she will lay tomorrow. Here's my blog about egg laying if you'd like to read it over.

Will do, thanks for the help! Do I continue to add food and mist/leave the dripper on? My mist system hasn't been set up yet.

Once she starts to dig just leave her alone. You can feed her every other day and continue to mist and drip her until she starts to dig.
