Hello guyss
I have a veiled chameleon ,
male
About 3 years
Lighting: t5 about 10-12 hours
He has mbd unfortunately.
I feed him 5-6 mealworms
( i give the mealworm sweet potato, oats, carrots, potato and green vegetable )

per day and dust them with calcium (I use zoomed calcium with d3 twice a week)
I don't know how to reorder and organize his feeding schedule
I will get asap zoomed calcium without d3 and multivitamin Repashy Calcium plus LoD
The question is
How can i offer the best treatment and schedule feeding for my cham?

Hi. What happened with your female? Did she lay her eggs?
Are mealworms all you can get? Locusts, roaches and other feeders aren’t available?
For the supplements, you want to use a phosphorus-free calcium without D3 at every feeding. Then use the Repashy calcium with LoD for one feeding every other week. That already has the D3 in it so no need to use the calcium with D3. Giving too much D3 can be just as bad as mbd from not giving any. The T5 uvb is correct and should have an Arcadia 6% or ReptiSun 5.0 bulb in it. Lights on for 12 hours and full darkness for 12 hours.
Can you post a picture of your chameleon and of his enclosure?

Did you see a vet about it?

That does not look at all like a 3 year old male veiled. The bend of the leg does look like severe mbd. Can you post more pics of the whole chameleon? On the back feet, are there pronounced nubs like in my pic below?
