Feeding Baby Panther Chameleons

What are the best insects (besides pinheads) to feed baby panther chameleons? I would really appreciate any advice, but anyone with personal experience would be especially appreciated. Thanks!

I feed my baby locusts and crickets atm but i think those flightless fruit flies are good and possibly mealworms as a treat (mine loves them!) Not too many though as it could cause impaction

You can try fruit flys, pinheads, or manits. If you want to get some mantis ooths the newborn nymphs are supposed to be great for neonates. You better hurry and order some though it takes a few weeks for them to hatch. But you will get 200 or so mantis from 1 ooth sac.

those newborn mantis are great but i would get some flys as well. Pick up some pinheads and you got a great range of feeders for a baby

yeah pins & ff are the easiest to maintain as staples. I would just give the mantis as a weekly treat to spur on slow eaters/picky eaters... Im about to order about 10 ooths.

Thanks for all the help guys, and nice link Eric. Mantids actually crossed my mind as well because I used to breed them for fun when I was little. I thought that the size of the baby mantids would be about perfect for the little chams. If someone could post a link to a good website to order mantids from I would appreciate it. Thanks again for the help!

I used to feed mine fruit flies and tiny crickets, but I hated both of those options so I switched to feeding small dubia roaches and very small super worms.
