https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMJDht6F2/I fed my little one as much as he wanted to eat until about 6 months. They can eat A LOT at that age. We want them to grow big and strong, so feed away. My guy would eat about 30 small-med. crickets a day at that age. Now he is about 6 months and eats roughly 10 large crickets a day. As he continues to grow, I will continue to reduce the feeders.
I would suggest slowly cutting back on amount of feeders. Imho, it’s crazy to jump instantly from all they can eat to 10.hi, so my cham is about to be 3 months and i saw somewhere that when your cham is three months you start feeding him 8-13 bugs only once a day. is that right? just wanna check!
exactly...Lol at my tiktok making it to the cham forums ?
It also heavily depends on the size of the feeder. 15 small crickets does not equal 15 hornworms which does not equal 15 medium dubia roaches.
ill follow you on tiktok! lolLol at my tiktok making it to the cham forums ?

Then they don't self-regulate, cutting themselves down when they reach full size? You can continue to feed him as much as he can eat in a couple of minutes at each feeding for another month or so and then cut him back to every second day. By the time he's full grown you will cut him back so he's is a healthy size...not too thin...not too fat.
Then they don't self-regulate, cutting themselves down when they reach full size?
Why? What is the rationale behind? Insee it asI would suggest slowly cutting back on amount of feeders. Imho, it’s crazy to jump instantly from all they can eat to 10.
healthy size...not too thin...not too fat.
