what are some reasons why a panther chameleons eyes could be sunken in? im not completely sure if they are as i am one of those people that if i hear about something ill start seeing it in everything. his urate was pure white today so i dont think hes dehydrated

It is sign of dehydration. I have to say..someone would have said this but I beat them to it. You need to fill out the info sheet and show us some pictures. Then people on here can help you even more than what your saying.

Howdy Jeff,

I've often described a chameleon's sunken eyes as the equivalent to a human winching in pain :(. This "chameleon winching" could be due to the suffering caused by dehydration, organ failure, internal bleeding, or just about anything else that could make a chameleon feel really lousy. As has been mentioned, toss us the Help List and some well-focused photos of your chameleon, his enclosure and we'll see what pops-up.
