Your Chameleon - 6month Veiled inherited on sunday!
Handling - Trying my hardest not to but ive had him out a couple of times since monday.
Feeding - He has a few brown crickets wich he hasn't touched.
Supplements - He's on calcium without d3 at the moment.
Watering - Not seen him drink yet but he has a dripper wich i change the water everyday and he gets misted twice a day.
Fecal Description - Has light yellow feces which im assuming means dehydration.
History - Previous owner had him a month and used the same equipment im currently using .

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Exo terra 45x45x60
Lighting - EXO TERRA 45CM COMPACT FLUORESCENT DOUBLE CANOPY
Plants - One small Ficus plant.

To cut a long story short, ive inherited a 6month old veild on sunday, all of a sudden last two days out of the blue, he struggles to open both eyes and struggles to get around the terrarium walking around blind, i was told it may be due to shedding but doesn't look like he's shedding at all, the previous owner had some form of compost/soil as the substrate and i still feel theres not enough coverage but am worried about adding more obstacles in his current state, what could this be? And what should i do???

Eye problems? Compact uv bulb? This seems to happen a lot, from what I've read here.
You need a tube uv bulb. Most used for Veiled is the reptisun 5.0.
I think a visit to the vet would be good, to see how bad it is and to get something to put in his eyes to prevent infection.....

Compact UV bulb is a no, no. But if you think something is in his eye. You can give him a room temp shower. Put him on something (plant, vine etc..) in the shower. Make the water room temp and poin the shower head on the wall. So he only gets a light spray of water. It will help him clean his eyes and help with hydration.

Definitely a bulb change and a shower are in order. If it doesn't appear to help then off to a vet.

A change of bulb? Or a change of lighting unit? Ive moved the compact lighting system to the front of the terrarium and added a 75w spot lamp in red which is all i had for added heat at the back and he has perked up great but still the eyes seem to be closed more time in the day than they are open, ive sprayed him as per usual so far today with warm water but he seems to hate it unlike my adult veild, surely doing this isn't adding to his stress i hope?

Put in a 75W (if that makes your temps good) house bulb, not a red bulb. Also use a strip UVB bulb and housing unit, not compact, along with some good ole hydration from the shower should help.
