History - None to report.

Current Problem - His right eye stays closed for quite a while. Then it opens for a couple of seconds then shuts for minutes. This started after I added the Mist King. Is it on too much or too little. I have it going on even with the lights off. Is that bad? Please help.

I would not run the mister at night. He is only going to drink when awake so it really serves no purpose other than to raise your humidity which you want to fluctuate anyways. i would set your mister for 3 times a day for about 3-5 minutes each tiime and the last misiting long before the lights go out so the cage has a chance to dry out. You need to gutload with something other than oranges. Fresh dark greens, apples, carrots, etc. You should use a plain calcium every day(without the d3) Get a multivitamin to use a couple times a month, same with the d3. He should be fed about 20 crickets a day. 4 or 5 is not enough for a 4 month old Is that all he is eating or all you are offering? Is there possibly something in the the eye? Could there be a piece of shed?

What calcium only supplement should I use? to use a couple times a month, same with the d3. About the shed, I have yet to see him shed but the female has already shed. I don't think that is the problem but what do I know. Any recommendations?

What kind of uvb bulb is the 5.0 (florescent, coil, cfl)?

Will he eat more or are you governing his intake?

Personally i would order some plain phosphorus free calcium and use that every feeding. Use reptivite 2 times a month.

Look up sandrachameleons blogs for some great gut load tips.

I use the Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All OUTDOOR forumla. Make sure it is the outdoor which does not contain the d3. The indoor does. you can order it online at LLL reptile. Some members are starting to use an all in one supplement( I have not jumped on the band wagon yet) made by Repashy. Check out Kammerflage Kreations website and you can read all about it. i have heard good things about it and Kammerflage is a well respected breeder who is endorsing it. As far as the shed it was just a thought, as I have seen it on here before with chams having a bit of shed stuck in their eye. I he has not shed then it is highly unlikely that that is the problem.
