Exo Terra vs Zoomed Uvb Lights

Are there any differences between the Repti Glo 5.0 (Exo Terra) and the Repti Sun 5.0 (Zoomed)?

In more simple words: I've read that Repti Glo must be changed for a new one every 6 months (after 6 months it loses uvb and is no longer 5) while Repti Sun after a year.

We had the discussion about the old "you need to change every 6 months" on a swedish forum, and people with UV-meters usually think that is not true most often.

i have the exo-terra repti glo 8.0
and the reptisun 5.0
im not sure wich one is better, but he seems to be happier with the repti glo, hes eating more for some reason....

I have been using the Exo-Terra Repti-Glo 5.0 ever since I got my chameleon. I combined it with the repti glo 2.0 as well and my chameleon seems pretty happy. He eats a great amount, no bone warping is present and he is over-all in a great mood. I recently took out the Repti glo 2.0 and replaced it with an incandescent bulb to keep him warm. Its been about 5 months and he seems to be growing very quickly and is pretty happy.
