Exo-Terra for Nosy Be?

Hi,

I have recently bought a Nosy Be baby from a breeder close to where I live, but he won't be ready until August. Until then, I am gathering all of his needed supplies and I'm wondering if its okay to house my 3 month old panther baby in an Exo-Terra 18x18x24 inch glass terrarium? I used to have 2 veiled chams and always kept them in a screen cage, but they were both fully grown when I got them. I have found a good deal on the cage, and want to know what everyone thinks?

He will be upgrade to a screen cage when he is older!

An exoterra of that size is PERFECT for a young cham!! Find a nice sized Umbrella or Ficus plant and use suction cups to place your vines and you're good!!

I would say he can be there until 6 months of age easy and he'll be happy. Just be careful not to over mist, since these can retail humidity pretty well. I use d to have an adult female in one of these and I only misted for 2 minutes in the morning and a light spray in the evening. (maybe 20 secs.)

I use that exact terrarium for all my young Chams until the move to larger screen cages. Just use lower watt basking bulbs. And watch for water pooling in the bottom
