Excessive tail curling.......

hey all,

Jude my male adult panther has recently been curling his tail up a lot........he used to only do it when he slept.....but for the past 3 weeks or so, when i come home from work he is relaxing on a branch with his tail curled up...........and sometimes he curls it even when he is walking around......he still does wander a lot......all over the cage....but he seems to be curling his tail up a lot..........any thoughts?????? thanks in advance,

ps the pic is typically jude......more often than not he is sitting in this spot under his heat lamp.....just like this.........

Im not sure what that could mean. I know Kamish only curls his tail up when he is sleeping or mad at something

Jude has great colors btw.

i normally wouldnt worry about it.......its just that he seems to be doing it often.....and relaxing often......do chams relax? lol..............

It might help if you can get a close up picture of his tail.

He's probably using it to help better balance himself while he relaxes.
