Estimate age?

So idk yoshis age bc they didn’t tell me when I got him but do you guys have a guess how old he is…. One person on here has a 7-8 month chameleon who looks exactly like Yoshi but hers was an estimate too I’ll attach some photos and tomorrow I’ll add photos with a ruler by him

I looked at pics of my Hammlet to compare and am going to guess that Yoshi is maybe around 4-5 months old. Here’s Hammlet when he was 4 months old.

Here he is when he was just over 6 months old.

My boy looks like hamlet at six months right now, maybe a bit bigger.

I agree. He looks about the size of Wasabi. Only Wasabi's Casque is bigger. I would say 5-6 months

Yes he does seem to be around 4/5 he looks like peach fuzz about a month and a half ago and he's 6 months now

Aside from curiosity (not that there's anything wrong with that) or being a birthdayphile, does it matter?

I can see how it might with an adult adoptee/rescue of unknown provenance (not knowing where they are on their timeline), but as long as they're still growing, they're likely less than a year.*

*With a female, I might get a lay bin in there even with a youngster (so it's a fixture by the time she's ready to lay), but that's not the case here.

Vent is a term for their poop hole . I call it their 3 in 1 hole. Vent is more loosely used as a way to describe the area outside, like the fold of skin outside the cloaca. Of that makes sense.
