Yes it is!!! I bought him from Kammerflage Creations and he was the son of Poncho. He turns completely yellow when he sleeps! Also has all kinds of red stripes too! I can post another pic if you want. I know it is weird! he has all kinds of blues in him too.

Weird.. Usually sambava has red/orange/yellow in daylight and he has typical Nosy Be colors. Please post some other pictures as well ;)

ok I will, but dont forget he is still very young and they Sambavas take along time to color up!

Sambavas are blue when they are young. They turn red/yellow/orange generally at 12+ months.

Nice Sambava....Certainly not a Nosy be! Typical juvi. sambava colors 100%. My Sambava had blue bars until almost 2 yrs of age. Once he hit 2 yrs of age, all his mature colors started coming in.

I agree. The Sambavas take very long to reach their actual mature Sambava colors. And they tend to be a larger panther chameleon as well. Ours exhibit blues, yellows, greens, along the way.

Must be a difference in colors around US and Europe, I've seen it more often with certain colors. Around here I never saw a Sambava with blue, but I'm not saying you guys are wrong. I just never seen it and around here it would be a Nosy be, I'm very curious about his colors later on.

Eszzie, IMO in no country would that look like a Nosy be. BTW, I'm not trying to be rude. Here is a link of my Sambava:

It looked almost identical to the OP's when it was a juvi.

Here is another link: This OP said her Sambava is blue....and I posted pics of mine as a juvi and finally mature.

There is actually very much difference per country, I've been to France and there pardalis look scompletly different and they use other names too.

In US some Ambanja blue looks very different from our Ambanja blue, so it's no that weird I'm not familiar with nosy be looking sambava.

Here's the sambava's we have here:

You will see no blue looking sambava's there. There is one blue looking one, but appeared to be crossed with Ambanja blue.

The sambavas in that link you postes look identical to all the Sambavas. The Ops sambava will mature to look like that too. A couple of the sambavas in the string of your photos is showing some blue in his bars btw. Also, if you saw my thread you can see my Sambava matured similar in appearance to yours.

Yes, that's the one of which I said it appeared to have been mixed with Ambanja blue, cause usually you don't see blue on Sambava here.

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm not saying I am right either, I'm just trying to say things are different here in panter colors sometimes.
