My Veiled is 4 months old and has never layed a clutch yet but I wanted to be prepared so I set up a tall pot in her enclosure full of moist soil that is very fine and safe from our forest ...anyways she has been eating it ...we caught her 2 times and yesterday we got real worried because she wasn't eating as usually...today I found 2 poops that were gritty and clearly were full of that dirt and she was back to semi-normal eating. I since covered the pot until my boyfriend can lift it out of the enclosure...I am just afraid I will miss the signs when she needs to lay eggs...does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you Kelly
