Let’s compile a list of everything a vet should be asked when taking in a possible egg bound female.

X-ray- top or side
Calcium injections

mri/CAT scan to see masses and or rupture .

This is not a vet thing but especially with females I think one should carry pet insurance .

I’d add questions about:

1) the dangers/benefits of oxytocin
2) whether the chameleon is overweight, and whether this has contributed to her being eggbound
3) How is she egg bound: pre or post ovulatory. I think this last one would be important because it could suggest two very different causes.
