after reading codiwatkins thread about his cham choking  (by the way Codi, im really sorry :() i realized that choking is a really serious thing that could happen, and could kill your cham. so im concerned about Xanthus. sometimes in the morning, after he eats, he'll sit on the soil, and just eat some of the soil in the pot  hes been doing this about twice a week, and hes done the open mouth/swaying thing twice in the time that ive had him too  i was just wondering if this is normal in juvi chams, a lack of nutrients, he thinks its a cricket, etc.

any feedback would be great :D

Did you put river rocks over the soil in your pots?? If not, this is a good way to reduce any chances of your cham eating soil

I put clean rocks over my soil as well to prevent Cedric Diggory from catching any soil in his mouth, you could either buy the big rocks at walmart in the pet section, or just go outside and get some rocks, (big enough though so that your cham won't pick any up with his tounge) either way, just wash them well with warm soapy water and rinse. Place them all on top of the soil. Hope this helps, that's what I did at least. :)
