Eating Scheflerra?

I recently added a scheflerra plant to my 5 month old panther's enclosure. It appears that he has taken a few bites out of the plant. Should I remove the plants or is this okay?

If its a Schefflera Aboricola then it's ok. Amy used to eat quite a bit of hers when she was tiny. The type of Schefflera to avoid (as it's toxic) is Schefflera Actinophylla.

LOL i am not the only one who cannot put plants in the enclosure without them being gobbled up !!

Gizzy has just about demolished her schefflera too and has suffered no ill effects. I`m sure it will be okay :D I have noticed that she only eats them when there are new leaves and then leaves them alone - I don`t know if it is the same with all chams, but hopefully your little one will also soon lose interest too. :D

When Kamish was younger he used to chomp on the dead leaves, if there were any. He's stopped that but I've found leaved with bite marks taken out of them lol As long as he doesn't eat all of the leaves, you'll be fine :)
