Easy to Culture Small Feeders

Looking to see what other small feeders that are easy to culture are out there besides fruit flies, bean beetles and flour beetles. Looking for something simple to keep cultured.

There are a huge number of great feeder roaches that can be bred for small feeders. Dubia nymphs are for sure small, but I’d highly recommend thinking about other non-pest species as well. Kenyan, for instance are great feeders and even the adults are small. I think @jamest0o0 carries several species that he ships country-wide and is a great resource to tap.

I'd be interested to hear more about roach options. Dubias are not "small" as they are about the same size as 1/4" crickets.

Hit up @jamest0o0. He’s probably the most knowledgeable, humble and helpful insect breeder I know. He’ll have excellent suggestions, is able to sell you the bugs, and will provide breeding info.
