I'm assuming he didn't like the odor the caterpillar released. After he shook it to the floor, I could smell a faint odor that seemed to come from the caterpillar. So I let him go outside.

I have a quad light from LYR. It's worth every penny.

I agree. Worth every penny. I also just got some Jungle Dawn Spot lights in the mail and holy crap, those are NICE. Very bright and pushes light down to the bottom of my cage where the light didn't reach that well before after filtering through all of the plants. The Jungle Dawn pushes that light all the way to the bottom so now my plant in the back will stay alive much much better.

I can't decide if I want that or a dragonstrand for Christmas.

Why not both? I have a quad light from Lightyourreptiles, and it's on a Dragonstrand X-Large Breeder Cage (the 24 x 24 x 48 white pvc walled cage).

Never been happier.
