why dont the feeder crickets chirp not complaining but is it because of being so small or like a special breed?
aso can i builed a cricket cage outside if they do when they get big or would the first chilly night gettem?

hello, crickets wont chirp until they reach sexual maturity in the last two weeks of life and they dont tolerate cold well

Well not all species chirp but most likely the ones you have will chirp eventually. They are probably too young. When they are full grown at about 5-6 weeks(I think that is what the cricket breeder told me) they will chirp. They get wings. Only the males chirp to attract the females by rubbing their wings together. If you feed them off before they get really big you will not have to worry about them chirping.
