so i've had my little guy for almost a week now, and i've never seen him drinking put, i caught him drinking just a few minutes ago. He stopped and stared at me and then just studyed me, and wouldnt u know it, he went back to drinking as i watched :-D

Some chams are private drinkers, and some need alot of misting to get stimulated to drink, i find that they all have different drinking habit, as long as his urates come out white then hes fine.

Yeah, mine took a couple weeks to drink in front of me, and still doesn't do it very often. I was paranoid at first, but his urates were good as gold.

I just mist well and leave a dripper on from dusk till dawn. I wish he would drink in front of me more often, but whatever. I hope yours does!

Ive never seen mine drink and i have had him 2 months now!! although i like Miss lily hamster bottle idea those things always drip even though they are not supposed to!!

I don't put the bottle in Lily's enclosure, I just offer it to her and drip it in front of her frequently through the day when I'm home. She knows what it is and will drink if she's thirsty. I mist her twice a day too, sometimes more when the humidity drops. She usually drinks after her heat lamp goes off in the evening - like a bedtime drink, bless her!!

Thaxter seems to want about five minutes of spritzing before he figures out what's going on. Once he catches on that this is water - just like every day at this time - and has a few tentative tastes, he gets in to it, and will spend some time licking the leaves afterwards. He doesn't seem to mind the audience; it just takes him a while to get up to speed.

Usually, you don't see them drink, if he is still active, will plump eyes moving around, he should be fine. If your worried, spray him more, or give him showers.
