Dead larvae? Neither of my lizards would have any interest.
When food is involved they can be surprisingly clever. My females will go to their feeder when they see me in the room. I feed dubia off of a spoon so the roaches don't crawl around so much and because I fear tongue injuries using tongs. When they see the spoon they come down to feed. They don't just randomly hunt but do know the best spots and situations to feed.
