I only found out on here that the calcium i was given my chameleon Mia had no D3 in :c the girl in the shop sold me it and said it had D3 in. I've had Mia since she was 9 weeks old and she'll be 6months soon in that time i've only been given her komodo cricket dust. (thats all i was told to give) I've ordered some D3 from Zoomed it will be here by Tuesday. How much should i dust her food with the D3 a month?? I've seen on here twice a month from 6months of age but with mia not having any D3 powder before will i need to give her more than twice a month?? Does she look ok in the pic?? https://www.chameleonforums.com/members/dreamforthedead-albums-mia-picture6274-mia.jpg She's really active, has not fell off her branches or anything like that im just worrying about her now cause of this whole D3 thing.

She looks real healthy to me. I don't think that it would hurt her too much up till this point. You have been giving her los of calcium up till now so I think she would be fine if you start it now. I personally give calcium with d3 once every two weeks and alternate with a multivitamin on the opposite week. I dont think giving it to Mia more than that will "catch her up" and I don't think any damage has likely occured from her not getting any d3, jmo. ps I didnt get any calcium with d3 for Carmie till she was about 4 months old and I got on this site.

shes beautiful... i dont know about the healthy/not healthy thing since im new to chams and dont always know what to look for... but she appears healthy to me :D very beautiful girl

PS-picasso is looking for a new girlfriend ;) he wants to know when shes free... he says hows this friday? dinner and a movie, then they can go back to his place.... this is all picasso talking of course :D... hes very lonely hahahahaha

:D Mia is such a pretty girly-cham! She looks good! Her elbow and knee joints look good. Chams that have or have had MBD often have rounded joints and an extra joint where bones have broken.

I would not try to give her a "super dose" of D3. I think dust her food lightly once you receive the D3 calcium and then begin a regular schedule with the D3.
