uhm well its a very good exotic pet store i go to and they said its a female and so far i dont see the spurs on the back feet so im pretty sure shes a girl lol. and okay ill be reading a whole lot about them i have been already reading all kinds of info for them.

Just making sure. alot of times people buy chams, say its a female, then its a male, or vice versa. im glad you are doing the reading, its very important she get the proper laying bin when shes ready. if not she can die form egg binding.

lack of growth usually means lack of calcium or a lack of space to grow into. I noticed when my guy got a bigger cage he instantly doubled in size. How are you dusting your feeders?

i would say like 2 times a week i dust a bag of like 3 dozen. i feed her like every 3 days with about 3 dozen does she need more food or is that okay? and i just cleaned her cage an put new plant in cuz other one was dieing so new plant and clean tank.

18 x 18 x 36 is fine for adult females , an all screen cage or partial glass/screen mix too


since she is small just a 16 x 16 x 30 ia fine, add a pothos or ficus plant.

uvb linear tube light like repti-glo or reptisun 5.0

and in the corner of the top of the cage have a basking bulb of 50 watts or until the basking spot hits 80-85 max, the rest of the cage should be 70-75

you can free range the food, just let them loose or cupfeed

try different feeder bugs like silkworms, hornworms, baby mantids, etc.

A little google-fu will find you lots of chameleon cages.

I use these cages, they're really good IMO.
