Do sperm plugs represent a vitamin A deficiency?

I keep other reptiles and in Geckos a smegma buildup is indicicative of a vitamin A deficiency. Is it the same thing for chams?

I have read all over that is totally normal but what if we’ve missed something? What if it’s a deficiency?

I don't know the science behind it, but I'm pretty confident in saying that it is normal to pass sperm plugs. I THINK where the issue lies is when they are not able to pass it and/or have problems with the reproductive organs. Vit A deficiency seems to be accompanied by eye and tongue problems as well.

Somebody that understands the ins and outs could give a better explanation.

I think it can have something to do with it.. we still need to understand hypovitaminoses A with reptile
