do chams like to be misted

so my chameleon, flynn, always closes his eyes when i’m misting the cage. so i’ve been avoiding misting him directly and misting the cage around him because i thought he might not like it but now i’m not sure if closing his eyes means he likes being misted or doesn’t, so do your chams like to be misted directly?
 
My guy sometimes loves it, other times...he literally THROWS himself[sometimes violently!] out of the way of the mister nozzles! Remember that chams are indigenous to rainforests so they are quite used to being hit with water.... i wouldn't stress it. ?
 
Mine all loved it given time for them to choose to go under it. Not many animals like being sprayed with water without warning. Well, my Parsons seems to love it no matter what, but the panthers would go under it after a couple minutes of the mister being on.
 
1 hates an begrudgingly moves out of the way. The other runs out and does an eye ball spinny wash...
