Do Chams… Blink?

An odd question, I know, but I don’t stare at my veiled long enough to catch him blinking. I figured they likely had a third eyelid or something…

However, I caught this clip as I was testing Rango’s reaction to a gentle pet. Is he blinking, or is this a flinch?…



I suppose the second one makes more sense when paired with his huffs. Either way, enjoy this clip of my scale baby!

EDIT: I do NOT do usually do this, nor do I handle him often for obvious reasons. I only interacted with Rango for this short amount of time, before leaving him alone as I should.

Oh, poor baby!

I figured this may have been the case. That, or him only waking up moments earlier while I was trying to sneakily snap a picture of him (without flash of course) may have given him droopy eyelids.

I don’t ever pet him like this, but I’ll be sure not to do this again!
