My nosy be female has had black striations for several weeks now. She is relatively new to us, and I have not bred her nor did the person I got hre from breed her. I gave her a laying bin since she looked restless. I assumed she had infertile eggs and wanted to lay. She never did, but still has that blackish coloration. She will have nothing to do with my Nosy Be male, (he's ready) She turns very dark, gapes at him and hisses. I want to breed them (the nosy bes), but she's not having it. What am I looking at here?My female doesn't change to gravid colors at all! She's stubborn like that.![]()
