Disappointing behaviour...

I just recently joined and I had read numerous threads that made me second guess being on this forum. If it weren't for the fact that I already have reptiles and and overly familiar with proper husbandry I would've definitely found another place for information. I don't think it's any place for anyone to rude and dismissive to anyone seeking help no matter your experience especially if people are seeking knowledge to better their chams life.

I agree with you there. When I first started keeping, I was already aware on basic reptile husbandry and knew well enough not to simply abide by the directions and setups given by chain pet stores. I found a few very nice groups, but all had the same aggressive undertone when it came towards uneducated keepers that dragged the whole group down.

We can always question care we currently provide and improve it, but sometimes the aggression given when different opinions are presented is very unwarranted.

I do feel bad for new keepers who aren't aware of general reptile husbandry, it's terribly overwhelming even for me, and I feel I'm pretty well versed.

So, I have to say that in my short time on this forum that I have witnessed a great deal of people making those comments and I don't get how people can be cruel. I don't even know you and I understood that there may have been an underlying issue to your health that was a factor to your messages.

I completely agree. I am always overwhelmed anytime I get a new animal no matter how much I know. the first three months are nerve wracking hoping that all your hard work into putting and setting everything up is on point and that you didn't make any mistakes.

IMHO. I see more passion than any thing.
My ex wife was Eastern European I recognize the style.
It was a combination of passion/excitement and not having all the native words to properly express her feelings in English.
I used to accuse her of being arrogant and rude, till I learned to listen different.

Fame is all important here, always has been. I get yelled at, for fighting with Petr, when I haven't been for weeks, and tried to defuse him every time. I am a problem I get it, I disagree, I do not lay down and follow like a good little sheep. All good.

I'm sorry, that I upset the friendly atmosphere here at CF. You know Chris Anderson, a celebrity staff member has been making people cry since the start, has made me leave 2 times, Bill can spaz and throw personal Insults, at people thats okay. Petr Starts a lot of the fights, and also hurls personal insults, the man has stated I lack basic education what 11 times now?

I have been posting less, and and NOT fighting with Petr, and yet the only one to receive a Warning today is Me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, That is actual Comedy....

Dont worry, you dont have to ban me. I will leave willingly, the fact that I have tried to defuse Petr, in-spite his continued insult chucking and the only one to receive a DM today was me, Speaks miles, about how I am wasting my time here. I am off to find a Hobby, Bill is right this isnt it.

You could move over to the classic mustang and Lincoln town car forums, and say you are not going to use motorcraft parts on your build. That group is more of a religion. MUST USE GENUINE PARTS.

@ferretinmyshoes , my wife's working with the sick in the hospital. I don't have work ATM, and I have 2 babies, one that we're running out of formula for. My patience for people being rude is thin, and it'd be smart for me to let it go and not take it out on anyone here. So, it is disrupting stuff for more people than just you. Try to understand that.
