Different from other chameleons

zeus has nothing wrong with him now but he looks different from other chameleons and he’s smaller. The guy claimed he was 3 months when i first got him (first pic) so now he is around 8 months. Could it have been before i got him. I just wonder every day what it could have been

He looks older than 3 months in the first photo. At that age, my veiled was still all green and barely had much of a pattern to him. No two chameleons grow at the same rate or even look similar. As long as he is healthy I wouldn't worry about it.

Graves is right. The patterns he's displaying in the first pic are indicative of many months older than 3. His stunted growth and small casque are probably due to how he was being kept before he got to you. I know you've been trying your hardest to make sure he has a healthy life!
