I've always had a fascination with diaphonization.

And thought it might be a way to immortalize a pet... Morbid, I know; but still beautiful.

Clearing renders the animals transparent and is achieved by bathing the specimens in a soup of trypsin

Trypsin is a pancreatic enzyme that digests proteins by breaking them down into smaller peptides

Food production:

It is used in food processing to tenderize meat, improve the texture of fish products, and break down proteins in the production of sauces and flavorings.
