Do I have to deforms my chameleon in order for him to stay alive like some will deworm their dog? Or are they fine just as long as you clean their cage as much as possible

Chameleons get parasites form the feeders they eat. It is important to have regular fecals done on a chameleon. My vets say to never just deworm them, why put poison into a small fragile chameleon when you don't even know if he has anything. Also it requires different kinds of meds for different parasites.
