Dehydration signs??

I just saw a picture someone posted and it had a lot of comments about how the cham looked dehydrated. What are signs to look for dehydration in a chameleon??

You can tell really easily with a Veiled Chameleon. Although there are several different ways to check, their eyes will tell you everything. If their eyes look sunken in, that's the number one sign they are dehydrated. However, when they get to this point, taking them to vet immediately is the best option.

Also checking their poop is a good idea. What you should see normally is two things: 1) feces (obvious looking) and 2) a white looking substance, which is their urine. Just like human urine, there are different variations in color for urine. The whiter the urine, the more hydrated your chameleon is.

Thanks so much for explaining :) Just got this little guy and even though I've already done research I'm still learning more and more everyday
