dark rubbed spots

I just noticed on my veiled chameleon that he has dark rubbed spots on his "elbows". He is about 6 months old and he is just now letting me pick him up so it might have been there for awhile. It looks as though his "elbows" are rubbing or burned but I really dont think it is burns because I have his basking light at 75watt and his pearch is set in a good spot. I was wondering if this is normal for them to get these rubbed spots on them as the get older.

Can you post a pic?

Well I just started to pick him up and he has always hated the camera but I will try. Have you ever heard of this maybe its just him rubbing off his skin when shedding?

My veiled sometimes gets darker patches when shedding. SO its possible. If the arms arent buggin him it can also be a bruise. try a shower.
