dark head?

what do you make of this guys head? these pics were all taken today. His head has always been dark, so i've never thought it could be a burn, but I wanted to get some expert opinions. thanks!

Doesnt look like a burn. Just looks like a different color he throwing on the top of his head. Hes a cross right? Theres no way of knowing how hes going to look when he finishes coloring up. He may really suprise you when all is said and done. I like the not knowing what they will turn out to look like part of crosses. but im strictly into keeping and breeding pure locales personally.

No, unless it's a sunburn, LOL. No really, I don't think it's a burn, it's too perfect and uniform.
