Dark colour

I woke up today to my cham really dark, i’ve only had him for 3 days and he started eating yesterday, his behaviour seems normal other than his colour, and i don’t think it’s because he’s basking because he’s stayed like this even when he’s hiding and when moving , i’ve attached pictures for reference ( i had to take him out for a minute because i was fixing his viv but he was the same colour )

Is this the one that you were told was 3 months old?
 
yes he’s around 3 months old, got him on Friday
IMO there is no way that cham is three months old... seeing him on your hand says it all. If they told you that then they lied. Dark can be stress and it can be absorbing heat. Your cage is not very lit up... Did you start making changes to it? have you filled out the husbandry form?
