Thor the chameleon Member Mar 8, 2016 #1 Every night my chameleon is sleeping, he is a bright green color. After he wakes up and i turn the lights on in the mornings, he turns a dark green. B brittbritt Member Mar 8, 2016 #2 Our chameleon turns that same color when he's sleeping at night. Then when he gets up he starts turning back to his normal colors.

hkitchen Member Mar 9, 2016 #5 At night they lighten up because the UVB light has gone off and that is what they use to show off their colors. Mine turns practically white at night.
