Hey Janet. As far as body habitus is concerned, she looks better than day 1! That is a great sign.
It has been a week and that always seemed to be the timeline for whether they would live or not. So you being past that hurdle is a good sign in my book. I hope she pulls through completely. Have you seen her attempt to use her tongue at all? It is really sad to watch.

She looks very good, in my opinion! Having brought my guy back from the brink, I said that if he was still going to fight me off when I had to force feed him, then I felt that he was still fighting for his life. Then, it became obvious that he was going to make it, because he started eating and drinking on his own, and gradually got stronger in his grip, and began putting on 1-2oz/day. Good luck! I know she will make it!
I'd say that she looks better than many imports I've seen pics of. Although they can "hide" things well (as you know) it is encouraging to see her looking that good after the ordeal. She is quite pretty, but you can definitely tell she is in some discomfort.
