cricket dusting

so i was just in another thread and a member suggested that someone do a thread with pics about dusting.

so here goes, this is just how i do things so feel free to do your own way and or make suggestions to me.

the flash seems to reflect off the powder making it look a little more than it is ( sorry )

here u see the dusting container and suppliment ( mineral today )

here they are with a very small amount or dust to little for most applications

and one i took and over did with reason, notice how thick and clumpy in some spots tooo much

i would love to hear feedback agree/disagree from member experienced and novice.
and again this just how i do it,,,, everyone has a right to their own opinion.

Great thread. I use plastic bags that I get my crickets in at pet stores to dust, pretty much works the same.

I remember the first time I attempted at dusting, I put my crickets in the bag first and then accidently put way too much supplements in...I had some dead crickets...oops :eek::D
 
awesome thread!!! Thank you soo much on this you have noo idea how some of us feel like idiots when we see how its supposed to be done LOL my hubby had to correct me on the dusting methods LOL btw what does too much dust do?
