cricket breeding success!

Finally! I bought 12 female and 1 male adult crickets last night and this morning I saw 10 of my females laying eggs and two still chirping. One female was chirping and a male walked up and she kicked him on the head:/

LOL....i haven't tried others, but i resemble that remark!!! Haha...crickets hate me, too. Hopefully the hubby will have more luck when he gets back home!

haha thanks. It has been a struggle for me. And hopefully a gateway to breeding other tasty snacks. Im gonna try for either dubias or super worms next.

congrats. my secret to breading crickets is....well, DON'T TRY SO HARD.
the less you try, the more babies you get. oh, and pray for no babies...always doesn't work and you get tons of them.

Haha, you and me both! They'll lay thousands of eggs but no matter what I try they never hatch.

all my friends have their crickets breeding on accident and they were making fun of me cause I couldnt do it!
