My husband and I have to take a road trip this weekend about 4 hours away, we will be gone this afternoon through Monday. It was unexpected. I have a friend who is going to keep Solomon at his house and follow careful instructions for a few days, and he is a responsible guy so I know he will do a great job, but I feel AWFUL for having to uproot Sol since he just got here yesterday. It's going to be so stressful on him and I am worried sick :( I am just having Stu (my friend) keep him in a low traffic room of the house high up on something, and no handling (I'm not even handling him yet) so hopefully poor guy won't get too stressed out. If I'd known we were leaving this weekend I'd have waited to order him. Boo :(

But on a GOOD note, I saw him drink AND eat! Watching him hunt was so cool. He spotted a cricket climbing up the screen.. And snuck up on him suuuuuper slow... and FWACK! Nabbed him with the stickytongue. Heheh. Also he "prays." He sits on his back legs and stands up vertically and puts his little hands together. So appropriate for a pet named Solomon! Hahah!

It is ok Emily it happens to all of us -we call it life. Just tell your buddy stu to get on this forum and post a few pics for you. You can have him sign on as you, get his own acct. or just sent phone pics. Solomon will be fine. Pictures for us when you get home.

Lol they are going to do a good job. His wife wants one now! I'm just a paranoid mom, I've done so much research and work to get everything perfect so I don't kill him, then I have to turn around and leave him in someone else's hands.. Ahhh stress.. Eek...

Best time to move him is at nite. He will sleep thru the move. Then wake up at the new location. He may never even realize hes at a new home as long as his cage isnt changed any. They arent as fragile as you think....

I wasn't able to because we had to leave during the day, and didn't know we were leaving the night before :( but I talked to his sitters, and he has been drinking and hunting, and doing fine!
