Craigslist: how does this sound?

i'd say at least go have a look at her, sounds like a good deal. She's a cutie.

Bigger is better when possible, but that cage size is what some use for females. If she is healthy, that's a GREAT deal.

Yes I do plan on going and taking a look at her before I even agree on a price, even though I believe that's a good deal it's all about the health of the animal too. Also I do plan to move her to a bigger cage ASAP for I love building my cages.

Lastly I don't think anyone said anything about it but will she stay that some color or will she get any more colors. Sorry for the ignorance.

Thanks

Females do not get colorful to the extent that males do. She will likely remain that color except when she gets gravid and becomes receptive. If you plan to get her (or any female of a species that lays eggs) be sure to do your research regarding laying bins and egg cycling. It's incredibly important to be informed on eggs when you keep females. If they are unable to lay the eggs (for various reasons including not having a suitable place the lay them, and physically being unable to lay them) they will become eggbound which can lead to their deaths.

I agree and you might find my egg laying/ laying bin blog helpful.

Okay thanks for the info about the coloring and also for the egg laying. I have two female veileds and understand the essence of them laying eggs, and I have used your link Jann

Thanks guys for the help

I'm going to attach a couple photos of my female to show you that they do get pretty colors, just not as flashy as males. Trust me, when you have one and see how she can go from purple to pink in a week just from where she is in her reproductive cycle, you'll love her. It's a subtle pretty, but pretty none the less.

That is very pretty!

I know I have a good deal here I am just really attracted more towards the males!! I'm still thinking though

Just wondering but if I were to get her would someone be willing to trade me for a male, not necessarily blue bar ambilobe just a gorgeous male. I considered putting her on here for sale but figured it would be low of me to sell her seeing it is such a good deal.
