coughing/sneezing cham?

i dont know if its normal, but my chameleon out of nowhere sometimes just lets out puffs of air. idk if he's sick or not. what could it be?

I have not seen that on my chameleons, but to know for sure, you would have to taking to the Vet and get blood/poop work for infections or parasites. Have you noticed changes on his behaivor? Does he eat/drink as usual?

This could also be an upper respiratory infection. Does he ever have standing water in his cage, is his cage near a vent? Does he have loads of saliva in his mouth, it will be very stringy and sometimes build up on the sides of his mouth.

If you hear anything, then I think a vet visit is in order. If he just puffs up and exhales, that's probably a response to something he doesn't appreciate seeing. But if you hear a cough or a sneeze-like noise, that's a definite concern.
