i hear people say they got their new chams at a convention of some sort all the time. Where do you hear baout these conventions and do they ever take place near ohio?

Another place is the back of Reptiles Magazine. They have quite a fdew listed as well.

do you find a lot of chameleons at most reptile shows, or should I look for specifics when looking for a show in my area

From what I have seen most reptile shows have a decent assortment of chams for sale.

find thw website of that event, then finds a chams website...talk to the peeps about them and all and make shure they are the best of the best....too many times have i seen baby vields being sold at these expos in all glass tanks to some 6 year old who is carring a little mouse habbitate as its home with nothing but a heat lamp...please talk to them before u drive 3 hours to be dispointed

It depends. In Mi, you can find Veileds at every show. Sometimes there will be Xanths and the occasional Panther.

Its difficult to say. One a different note, most shows will have a website and a vendor list. There is also "contact" information. You could make a call/email and see if any vendors are going to be there with chams.
