constipation and olive oil

is it true that olive oil will help your cham with constipation?
if so, is there a specific kind that works best? any help is greatly appreciated.

My chams get this occasionally- first I try warm mistings though. If that does not work a tiny drop of either olive oil or mineral oil on his favorite treat (butter worms) does the trick. It does not have to be a certain type or brand. It usually takes a few hours or overnight.

I don't know if this will help, but ever since I started feeding Mr.Pink small pieces of strawberries, his poops have gotten bigger, softer looking, and more frequent.
