I got my chameleon yesterday and I have noticed that he has some white flakes over his left eye. Does this signify that he is shedding? Is this a healthy color for him? Sometimes he is a nice forest green with black bars, but for the most part he is a dull green or brown. I am assuming his coloring won't change for a few months. I just want to make sure he is getting a good amount of water and heat.
He's a 4 month old Panther Chameleon who is about 7 inches long from head to tail and his enclosure is 12x12x18 and I have an 18x18x32 coming soon. How soon should I switch him over to the bigger enclosure? I am sorry I have so many questions.. I am a new owner and I want him to be a healthy boy!
