Colors?

I have done a lot of research over the last few months about chams (veilds in particular since that is what I own) and I see a lot of photos of veilds with a ton of colors or markings.

Like this picture from Wes Coast Chams. Their site says he is about 6 and a half months. He is completely covered in markings. My Brody doesn't really look like that. Are the males that much more colorful than the females? I have still seen very colorful females though too.

Now I understand how it works, if her parents were super colorful or had a lot of markings then she will too but she isnt even close to these. She is about 7 to 8 months now.

She is always a beautiful bright green and every so often we will see her with a few darker markings, especially if I piss her off (which is almost never). I know she is happy so that is all that really matters. I was just curious if was common for them to not be that "colorful."

Either way. I love her to death and she is healthy which is important. :D

Looks to me like she is receptive. I have one lady that was totally green until she became receptive, they looked a lot like that cham in the pic. She is receptive again ACKKKKK and she has gold instead of yellow.

Gotta give them time They aren't like the panthers which color up quicker.

I wonder the same thing.. Ben(ita) is always green..with a few small black dashes down her body..never changes even when mad..
