color enhancement

I'm not sure about being able to feed certain things to enhance colour. However, I would say the healthier the more colourful. As long as you are feeding well gutloaded and correctly supplemented feeders then this should help. The Repashy Calcium Plus all in one supplement has had good reviews and some people have noticed a colour enhancement as a result. With your Chameleon being female I wouldnt expect too much change as their colours are naturally more limited than males.

some members say Dinofuel has helped with color.you feed it to your crickets. tkilgour(kilgour chameleons, site sponsor) who is also a member on here sells it. I have never tried it. Are you located in the states? where is sk?

How old is your female now? She'll be much prettier when she develops her mature lady colors. Good food and sunshine will do wonders, (if it isn't freezing where you are).

Here's my female when she was about 6-7 months old.

when I joined people said she looks about 5 or 6 months so I'm gonna guess 6 or 7 months at the moment. When I bought her the lady left out her age :ll

It's possible that she's either a little younger or that she just hasn't reached maturity yet. But it'll happen, all veiled girls reach maturity and get their lady spots. They will always look nicer outside too, so when it warms up you can get her outside for sunlight in the mornings/afternoons and she'll probably look better. All of mine do much better when they can go outside for a little. It just brightens them right up.

olimpia, that is one of the most beautiful females i have yet to see. i live in pennsylvania, so i wont be able to get her outside until around june. i may try switching my uvb from the zilla desert slimline to reptasun

also, i put a laying bin in her cage around 3 months ago and she still hasnt laid any eggs any input?

mine is still brown but not 100% of his age.....hes about the size of an i phone but he goes green at night? hope colin develops colour!

how old is she?
even though females can begin laying eggs at around 5-6 months old. that doesnt mean they WILL.
if you are managing her food intake, keeping her at lower temps, you can even stop the egg production.
or shes a late bloomer.

i think one person staved off egg laying until the girl was 18 months old.

I think the truth is that it happens when it happens, my panther is almost a year now and he has been exploding with color.

Just need time for them to bloom and to keep them healthy and thriving

Repashy Calcium Plus has a small amount of Allens Superpig color enhancer. I myself do add an extra amount of superpig to my rotation of Repashy Calcium Plus.
